A series of interactive webinars for Fire Door Safety Week (20 - 26 September 2021), organised by Arnold Laver Intelligent Door Solutions (IDS) division has highlighted the critical role fire doors play in protecting property and lives.

David Oldfield, Commercial Director at IDS and Chairman of the Fire Door Alliance Scheme said: “Statistics suggest more than 75% of existing fire doors are not fit for purpose. By hosting these webinars and encouraging communication and discussion in the industry, we hope to help tackle this issue.”

Each free-to-join 30-minute webinar was CPD accredited and delivered by leading bodies and suppliers including Arnold Laver, Lorient, dormakaba, Pyroguard and Fire Door Inspect.

They covered the latest industry insight and legislation including compliance, certifications, design, specification, procurement and liability.
