Our structurally engineered joists are the result of extensive research into engineered timber technology. They reduce problems such as shrinkage, cupping, bowing, twisting and splitting traditionally associated with sawn timber joists and that can be the cause of the squeaks and dips characteristic of traditional timber floors.

The joists are also excellent for building flat or pitched roofs, ensuring straight roof lines.

Because they are lightweight and uniform, structurally engineered joists are quick to install.

Available in a wide range of sizes and depths and in lengths up to 20 metres, they are precision-manufactured to stay strong for life and eliminate laps over beams and walls.

EGGER Peel Clean

Made using EGGER P5 grade chipboard, this robust tongue and groove structural flooring board is covered with an easy-to-peel, anti-slip woven surface film which helps to prevent against moisture during the build process.

When the film is removed, it leaves a polymer sealed surface, providing an added moisture barrier and a clean and well-presented floor ready for handover.

EGGER Protect

EGGER Protect, made from P5 flooring grade particleboard, is faced with thermosetting resin impregnated Kraft paper on both sides of the board providing double protection and preventing moisture ingress.

EGGER Peel Clean Xtra

EGGER Peel Clean Xtra is made from P5 flooring grade, moisture resistant particleboard covered with an easy to peel, anti-slip polyethylene film, designed to provide surface protection from site traffic and wet trades while building works are in progress.

EGGER tongue and groove P5 grade particleboard forms the basis for many value added products in the EGGER range. It is ideal for domestic flooring and modular building. P5 is suitable for humid / damp environments and therefore is ideal for bathroom and kitchen floors.
